Starting Somewhere…
The Vineyard Youth Team is bringing something new to the Vineyard Youth Ministry just for YOU the parent.
This is a Parent Cue. This is about you and your student.
This is an attempt to open up communication about what your student is learning and experiencing at The Vineyard Church. The Parent Cue is an overview of the current teaching series that is or is going to be taught. In addition to an overview, the parent cue will give you meaningful conversation starters for you and your student.
You can subscribe to the Parent Cue on the vineyard youth website www.slvineyardyouth.com and receive it monthly via email. The email will also include special events, announcements, and general news about the youth ministry. Depending what grade your student is in and what Vineyard programs he or she is plugged into will determine whether or not the current Parent Cue is applicable for you and your student. Above every Parent Cue you will find the Venue (Program) information and the grade level it is designed for. We are making every effort to make a Parent Cue for all of our Programs (Sunday Morning Service, the Post, Club 56, ect.)
Our mission in the Vineyard Youth ministry is simply helping teenagers to have a lasting understanding of three things:
- I am created to pursue an authentic relationship with my creator.
- I belong to Jesus Christ and define who I am by what He says.
- I exist every day to demonstrate God’s love to a broken world.
But we can not do this alone. We need you to help accomplish this mission. Our desire is to work toward the same end. Simply said we believe our mission is to Incite WONDER – Provoke DISCOVERY – Fuel PASSION in the heart of your students.
We are your partners. We love your kids and consider them family.
