ServLife is an opportunity for students in the 7-12th grade to begin Serving in the Vineyard Youth Ministry. ServLife will kick in to gear on December 13th!

FAQs

Is this the same thing as Serving for Vineyard Kids or for the Adult Service?

Nope. ServLife is designed so that students can help make our Sunday Morning and Wednesday Night Youth Services possible. If you get involved in ServLife you will be serving other Vineyard Youth.

What are the Serving Opportunities?

Audio: Learning the ins & outs of the sound system & running the sound for the Vineyard Youth Service. This requires a pre-service commitment.

Multi-Media: Operating our Media Presentation Software & operating the Lighting System.

Greeter: This one is pretty self explanatory….Greeting your fellow students with a nice bright smile! As well as making new students feel welcome and comfortable with their first Vineyard Youth Experience. This requires a pre-service commitment.

Triple T “the Tasty Treat Team”: Setting up the coffee, tea, juice. Baking cookies, preping treats, helping serve food for Remix Sunday. This requires a pre-service commitment.

Remix Side-Kick: Once a month we have our Remix Sunday and Vineyard Youth is in need of 11th & 12 students who can help with the morning service. Things to do are: lead the opening prayer, build relationships, give the morning announcements, help with games, ect.

How often will I serve?

Each month you will receive an email or text message which will have the monthly schedule attached. Part of the ServLife agreement is that you will make every effort to attend one of the services that you are not serving in. The most typical ServLife Schedule will have you volunteering approximately twice a month.

When do I start?

Most of the ServLife Teams will start on December 13th. Whether or not you will be scheduled that day we can’t guarantee. But don’t worry we will get you serving in no time. Once you complete the ServLife Application you will be notified of the first opportunity to attend a team training. Most of which will be done in between the 9:00 & 10:45 services. The team training will only be about 20 minutes long.
